I know that I can’t do everything. No one can, right? And I can’t be in two places at once, so I have to prioritize. I really wanted to go to the Content Convergence and Integration Conference in Vancouver, but it conflicted with my son’s wrestling team awards banquet. Since I would be just another attendee at the conference (and they wouldn’t notice if I was there or not), and I’m the webmaster and publications chair of the wrestling club (and they WOULD notice if I skipped), I stayed home and did the family-friendly thing.
It looks like it was a great event, though – you can read reviews of the conference and individual sessions at the Content Convergence and Integration page on Confabb. I definitely hope they do it again (and that I get to attend next time).
