For those who’ve been asking, no, we don’t yet have the monkey standing up. I hope it will happen soon, though – we plan to work on him this winter. It’s not so easy as you might think!

Remember when we moved the monkey? Though we aren’t sure exactly, current estimates put him at about 10,000 pounds of concrete and metal (that’s without the kids or lights, above!) so it will require some serious engineering. Luckily, I know lots of engineers who also happen to be fans of the monkey!

Operation Moving Monkey
