DocTrain conference in Vancouver

Looks like I’ll be going up to Scott Abel’s Doctrain conference in Vancouver this spring! From their site http://www.doctrain.com/

Held in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, the theme of the 8th Annual Documentation & Trainining Conference is The User Experience. The conference features sessions and workshops that help technical communication professionals improve the usefulness of the information products they create.

I’ll be doing a presentation with Kit Brown and Char James-Tanny on “Keeping Your Sanity Managing Virtual Teams,” and Char will be talking about choosing Help Authoring Tools. Featured Speaker will be Ann Rockley, who’s always worth seeing!

One unique thing about this conference is that you get one of the pre- or post-conference workshops included in the admission price.

Besides the interesting progam, I’m looking forward to seeing Vancouver. I’ve never been there before, but I hear it’s lovely.
